"To go the long way requires an acknowledgement of time and its use. It’s an acknowledgement that the shortest and most direct way isn’t the best way for a particular trip. The long way provides an opportunity to appreciate what passes us by. To have the difficult conversations we have been avoiding. Or because the normalized route just isn’t available. The Long Way is a Video Screening of works by artists who attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture.
